Love-A-Bull will be hosting a “mini-clinic” during the Third Annual Pit Bull Awareness Day festivities. Join Love-A-Bull as we set a new record for the world’s largest gathering of pit bull type dogs!

We are proud to partner with PALS (Prevent-A-Litter) of Central Texas, EmanciPET, Town Lake Animal Center, and Oak Hill Veterinary Clinic to make the following items and services available!
• EmanciPET will be on-site to offer and schedule FREE spay/neuter appointments.
• Town Lake Animal Center will be providing FREE microchips, FREE I.D. tags, and FREE leashes/collars.
• And we’ll have a Q&A session with Dr. Mockler from Oak Hill Veterinary Clinic.

Meet Holly Marie Combs, Actress, producer, writer, and animal welfare advocate. She has starred in the popular TV series “Charmed” and on ABC Family’s “Pretty Little Liars.” Holly and her family have acquired and adopted several animals including dogs, rabbits, horses, cats, birds and other animals who find their way into their home. She strongly believes in the need for pit bull advocacy and education.

Also meet John Shipe Singer, songwriter, teacher, and traveler. He is most well-known for his song Pit Bull Blues, and in case you couldn’t tell — he’s a pit bull advocate too

Parade: 11:30 am at the Statesman parking lot
Festival: 1 pm – 5 pm at Republic Square Park
Cost: Both events are FREE and open to the public.
Parking: Available at City Hall (entrance on Lavaca) free until 5 pm.
