Come on out for the free concert featuring Antone’s 35th Anniversary Show with Carolyn Wonderland, who will be playing the KGSR Blues On The Green on June 23 in Zilker Park.  KGSR’s Blues on the Green has always been a free community event. The event sponsors along with the support of Austin Parks and Recreation make the event possible so please thank them and support their businesses.

A few days ahead of the official kick-off of Antone’s annual anniversary festivities, KGSR and Antone’s will celebrate the 35th Anniversary of Austin’s Home Of The Blues. Carolyn Wonderland was one of Clifford Antone’s favorite performers and she’ll headline an evening of blues and traditional rock ‘n’ roll that will also feature special appearances from a pair of Antone’s mainstays- Derek O’Brien and Malford Milligan.

Wonderland is a triple threat- a distinctive songwriter a soulful singer, and a serious guitar goddess. Her last record- Miss Understood- was produced by 9-time Grammy-winner, Ray Benson, and recorded in Austin. It featured 6 new songs from Wonderland, as well as choice selections from Bruce Robison, JJ Cale, Terri Hendrix and Rick Derringer.
